Derek Stingley Jr. showed insane potential while at LSU. Unfortunately, his time in Baton Rouge was hampered by injuries, terrible coaching, and general nonsense. His upside gives him your author’s endorsement as CB1 in this draft class over Cincinnati’s Sauce Gardner. Gardner is a tremendous prospect in his own right. Washington’s Trent McDuffie has 1st-round potential as well. After that, there are some question marks with the rest of this class. Josh Jobe has quite a bit of potential but was never really that guy in Tuscaloosa. Cordale Flott showed flashes and could land a spot as somebody’s nickel corner.
