Blackhawks 2, Penguins 1
- Updated: November 19, 2017
Maybe the Blackhawks have put their recent struggles behind them. Or maybe they’re just good at playing the Penguins. Hopefully, it’s the former. Both of their goals came on power plays, which isn’t the greatest sign that that’s the case, but the team did have a handful of great looks that were a few inches or so from being put into the net. They gave up a goal while on a power play, which was kind of sloppy and definitely not a great sign that they’ve gotten things figured out, but they did respond and get the goal back quickly.
I mean, look, if nothing else, they look like they’re pretty good at playing the Penguins.
My picks for 3 stars
★★★ Matt Hunwick, D, PIT (1 G)
★★ Corey Crawford, G, CHI (35 SV, 1 GA)
★ Artem Anisimov, C, CHI (1 G (GWG))
