Safe to say having Duncan Keith makes a difference. For the second night in a row, he was a factor at both ends. The defense had a rather good night. The offense started slow, but then about a third of the way through the second, Kane found the puck in front of the net, flipped it past Ramo, and extended his goal streak to seven games. Then Karri Ramo did Karri Ramo-type stuff on a shot by Hossa. Then Kane fed Panarin and Panarin went Thin Mints on Ramo and in 1:55, the Hawks had lit the lamp three times.
Darling was very good. Play him more, Q.
My picks for 3 stars:
★★★ Duncan Keith, D, CHI (1 A)
★★ Scott Darling, G, CHI (18 SV, 1 GA)
★ Patrick Kane, RW, CHI (1 G, 1 A)
