One line dominated tonight, but it wasn’t the line that usually does; it was the top line. A great game from Turbo certainly helped. When he’s on, that line works almost as well as the Shake An Bake line. Turbo’s still having the odd ordinary game here and there, but ever since being put at 1LW and left there, he’s played a lot better and been a lot more consistent.
The bottom two lines didn’t do a whole lot. Part of that was caused by Kruger leaving with an injury. The defense was very good. Scuderi has looked mostly fine thus far. Crawford turned in a gem and only wasn’t first star because a couple other guys were outstanding.
My picks for 3 stars:
★★★ Corey Crawford, G, CHI (33 SV, SO)
★★ Jonathan Toews, C, CHI (1 G (GWG), 1 A)
★ Teuvo Teräväinen, F, CHI (2 G, 1 A)
