Blackhawks 4, Oilers 3 (OT)
- Updated: December 30, 2017
The Blackhawks that aren’t named Duncan Keith put together a very strong performance in front of Jeff Glass, who was making his NHL debut at 32. The one that is named Duncan Keith was pretty bad. The offense showed up, scoring twice on the power play and generating some really nice chances. The defense did their part in helping out Glass, holding Edmonton to one until they pulled their goalie. Once the Oilers did, though, they overwhelmed the Hawks and scored twice in just under a minute-and-a-half to tie the game and force overtime. In OT, Patrick Kane got the Hawks the extra point and Jeff Glass his first NHL win.
My picks for 3 stars
★★★ Jeff Glass, G, CHI (42 SV, 3 GA)
★★ Patrick Kane, RW, CHI (1 G (GWG), 1 A)
★ Jordan Oesterle, D, CHI (1 G)
