Blackhawks 5, Rangers 2
- Updated: January 4, 2018
The Blackhawks ended their road trip with a strong performance in New York against the Rangers. Jeff Glass played well in his third NHL start, save for one major mistake that lead to a Rangers goal. With the team already short-handed, Glass fired the puck straight out of play for a delay of game penalty. Otherwise, Glass played well and the team did a very nice job of supporting him, both offensively and defensively. At the other end, Henrik Lundqvist made some great saves, but the Hawks’ offense was able to win that battle.
My picks for 3 stars
★★★ Patrick Sharp, LW, CHI (1 G (GWG))
★★ Vinnie Hinostroza, F, CHI (1 G)
★ Jonathan Toews, C, CHI (1 G, 1 A)
