Golden Knights 4, Blackhawks 2
- Updated: October 25, 2017
The Blackhawks headed to Sin City for their first-ever meeting with the Vegas Golden Knights and it went, uh, not well. The team generated scoring chances, but got sloppy with the puck and had too many defensive screw-ups. A lot of the credit for the Vegas victory belongs to goalie Oscar Dansk, who had to make quite a few big saves. On the other end of the ice, Corey Crawford was good, but not great.
My picks for 3 stars
★★★ Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, RW, VGK (1 G (GWG))
★★ Tomas Nosek, C, VGK (1 G, 1 A)
★ Oscar Dansk, G, VGK (29 SV, 2 GA)
