Hurricanes 3, Blackhawks 2
- Updated: March 9, 2018
The Blackhawks got outplayed all game and were lucky to only lose by one. Former Blackhawk goalie Scott Darling picked up a win over his old team, though that team didn’t make it very tough for him. The Hawks had a couple good looks that required big saves from the pride of Lemont, but mostly they weren’t very threatening. J.F. Berube kept the Hawks in it and is the only player on the team allowed to not be ashamed of his performance in this game.
My picks for 3 stars
★★★ Jean-Francois Berube, G, CHI (37 SV, 3 GA)
★★ Elias Lindholm, C, CAR (2 A)
★ Justin Williams, RW, CAR (1 G, 1 A)
