Hawks – Kings Recap
Hawks – Flyers Recap
Hawks – Jets Recap
The Blackhawks went 1-2 on the week, losing to Los Angeles and Philadelphia at home and defeating Winnipeg on the road.
Notes
Forwards: Fleischmann had another good week. Hopefully, Bowman will be able to keep him around. The Q’s-an-art was on full blast this week, as Toews and Kane saw time together with Fleischmann and then Ladd. Putting those two on the same line really isn’t a good idea in the long run, though, so some other guys are going to have to step up.
Defensemen: Bad against L.A. Not good against Philadelphia. Quite good in Winnipeg. Rozsival has played well enough to be considered a decent #5 guy. Seabrook was better.
Goalies: Crawford was awful against the Kings. Darling was fine against the Flyers in a losing effort, and then brilliant against the Jets. Crawford is day-to-day with an upper body injury, so the team recalled Michael Leighton from Rockford.
Blackhawks 3 stars of the week:
★★★ Tomas Fleischmann, LW (1 G)
★★ Scott Darling, G (.947 SV%, 1. 53 GAA, 1 SO)
★ Marian Hossa, RW (2 G)
