WWE TLC : Tables, Ladders, and Chairs 2016 Results

Hello one and all to WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, the final Smackdown! Pay-Per-View for 2016, from Dallas, Tx!

As usual, we have a match to kick-off to the show, and this time it’s a 10-man tag team match between Apollo Crews, American Alpha, and The Hype Bros. vs. Curt Hawkins, The Ascension, and The Vaudevillians.

A lot of good tag team action here on both sides of the ring. The Ascension had the ring cut in half and had all the momentum until they tagged in English of The Vaudevillians, who then, proceeds to suplex Gable of American Alpha to the top turnbuckle, and starts taking out everyone. A double clothesline and the Grand Amplitude to The Ascension seals the deal. Your winners are: American Alpha, Appolo Crews, and The Hype Bros. !

Now, it’s time for the main show to start, and first up is another tag team match but, it is for the Smackdown! Tag Team Championship between Rhyno and Heath Slater, and The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton)!

Rhyno starts things off and looks to try and get things done early with a flurry of offense to Wyatt. Rhyno tags in Slater who puts a good fight of his own. Wyatt tags in Orton and the veteran does what he does best, and start meticulously taking apart his opponent. Slater tags in Rhyno, who gets a couple of clotheslines in, and goes for the Gore, which misses Wyatt and hits Luke Harper, who on the outside. Orton hits Rhyno with an RKO for the win.

Your winners and NEW Smackdown! Tag Team Champions: The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton)!

Good match overall, but I can’t help to think that Randy only joined up with the Wyatts to take them out from the inside. However, that is another story for another day.

Second match: A No Disqualification match between Nikki Bella and Carmella!

Right out of the gate, Carmella goes right after Nikki and doesn’t let up. Using ground and pound attacks, using a kendo stick, the steel steps. She is really not letting Nikki get anything going.  Carmella tries to get Nikki to tap using the Code of Silence, but Nikki gets out using the kendo stick and goes to town on Carmella. Nikki uses a fire extinguisher followed by the Rack Attack 2.0 for the win!

Your winner: Nikki Bella!

After the match, Carmella drops a bombshell . See, Nikki thinks it was Carmella who attacked her at Survivor Series. But, Carmella tells Nikki that it was Natalya that did it. Is it true? Guess we will have to find out.

Next match is another championship match. This time it’s for the Intercontinental Championship between The Miz and Dolph Ziggler and, it’s a Ladder Match!

Miz starts the attack on Ziggler and both men try to end things early by knocking one or the other out, so they will have time to get a ladder. Ladders on the outside get used by both men and, a super ladder is brought in, while a normal ladder is also used in the ring. Miz uses a ladder on Ziggler’s ankle and, starts to mock Daniel Bryan. Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale and climbs up the ladder, only to come crashing to the mat. Both men climb up the ladders, now in the middle of the ring. They battle it out at the top until Miz hits a low blow on Ziggler, who then falls to the mat, allowing Miz to grab the title to retain.

Your winner and still Intercontinental Champion: The Miz!

The fourth match of the night is a Chairs Match between Kalisto and Baron Corbin!

Corbin doesn’t like little guys like Kalisto and, feels that they don’t belong with the big men.

The match starts off with Kalisto trying to put up a good fight against Corbin, setting up chairs and having Corbin crash into them,  however, Corbin rolls to the outside. Kalisto goes for a suicide dive but, is caught and Corbin hits the Deep Six on Kalisto. Corbin rolls him back into the ring. Corbin only gets a two count. Kalisto tries to mount a comeback, even trying to hit the Salida Del Sol, but, to no avail.  going up top for a dive is Kalisto and, Corbin hits him in the head with a chair. Corbin then hits the End of Days onto the pile of chairs in the middle of the ring for the win.

Your winner: Baron Corbin!

Up fifth is another championship match. For the Smackdown! Women’s Championship it is Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss in a Tables Match!

Both women go at it in a good match. Exchanging blows with one another, its hard to tell who has the upper hand. Becky is first to bring out a table. More offense, and unusual offense at that, from Bliss, who resorts to biting Becky’s fingers. Bliss brings out another table and sets it up in the middle of the ring.  Both women battle back in forth, each one trying to put the other through the table. Action spills to the apron where Bliss powerbombs Becky through a table on the outside for the win!

Your winner and NEW Smackdown! Women’s Champion: Alexa Bliss!

Time for the Main Event of the night.  AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Tables, Ladders and, Chairs Match!

Ambrose starts off the match swinging, followed by the ground and pound attack. Styles sets up a ladder to try and end it early but, Ambrose isn’t having it. Both men battle up to the top of the ramp, and Ambros plants Styles on a table. Styles starts to head back to the ring, only for Ambrose to attack him from behind.  Chairs and ladders are being used with their offenses. Ambrose sets up a ladder, only for Styles to stop him.

On the outside, Ambrose clears and sets up a ladder on the German announce table, then sets Styles up on the English one.  Climbing up the ladder, Ambrose hits Styles with a flying elbow.  Ambrose starts to climb the ladder in the ring until Styles knocks it out from under him with the Phenomenal Forearm.

Lots of intense action including a 450 splash through a table on the outside by Styles. Ellsworth comes down and gets attacked by Styles. Styles goes for a Styles Clash on Ellsworth, only to be saved by Ambrose.  Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds to Styles on the ring steps and, starts to climb the ladder. Both men vie for position on the ladder. Ambrose knocks Styles off and, in a twist, Ellsworth knocks Ambrose off the ladder. This gives Styles ample time to climb the ladder and retain the championship.

Your winner and STILL WWE World Heavyweight Champion: AJ Styles!
