Michigan 41, Florida 7 – Somewhat Rapid Reaction
- Updated: January 2, 2016
Well, that was fun. De’Veon Smith was hitting holes. So was Drake Johnson. Michigan moved the ball pretty well against a very good Florida defense. They forced turnovers. The defense made adjustments. That was just about as well as that could have gone. My biggest complaint is that Allen was a definite downgrade at punter. A great end to the season for Team 136.
I’ll recap this one after film become available and I can review it – that should be fun. After that, expect some content on Don Brown, his defense, and how Michigan’s players should fit into it, plus a season wrap-up blog, and some talk about Michigan’s early enrollees. Then around Signing Day, I’ll profile the rest of the incoming class. After that, I’ll do an early look ahead to next season (it might be around this time that I do the blogs on the defense, we’ll see), and then that’s probably it until the spring game.
