Michigan 48, Indiana 41 (2OT) – Rapid Reaction
- Updated: November 15, 2015
The Good: Rudock, Chesson, Butt, Rudock, it was a win, Michigan still technically has somewhat of a shot at winning the Big Ten, the pass defense kind of, Rudock.
The Bad: Pretty much everything else. Almost all of the second half. Run defense was non-existent. I know you miss Glasgow, but woof. It looked like Wormley mostly lost the battle with Spriggs. I’m going to guess Morgan and Bolden are going to end up with quite a few minuses when I review the film. The run blocking was not great. It got a little better after Rudock hit some deeper throws (No, that’s not a typo. Rudock was mostly great on deep passes.), but still was less-than-spectacular. If the game wasn’t so tight, my guess is Michigan commits to the run a little more and probably ends up turning things around. But you can’t mess around when you need points, so they didn’t. Michigan allowed a punt return TD, so yeah, special teams haven’t been so good lately. Dymonte Thomas got hurt. Film review won’t be fun.
