The Not-So-Great Outdoors: Your Weekly Blackhawks Recap
- Updated: March 2, 2016
The Hawks went 0-2 on the week, losing in TCF Bank Stadium to the Wild at at home against Nashville.
Notes
Forwards: The Hawks picked up Andrew Ladd from Winnipeg and Dale Weise and Tomas Fleischmann from Montreal. Discussions of those trades can be found here and here. It was a rough week for the offense. They managed only two goals and one came from a defenseman. In Minnesota, they just didn’t play well. Against the Predators, Rinne stood on his head. It happens.
Defensemen: Lousy in Minnesota, but so was everyone else. The team picked up Christian Ehrhoff from L.A. That move’s discussed alongside Fleischmann and Weise.
Goalies: Not good.
Blackhawks 3 stars of the week:
★★★ Jonathan Toews, C (1 A)
★★ Brent Seabrook, D (1 G)
★ Patrick Kane, RW (1 G)
