California Love – Your Weekly Blackhawks Recap
- Updated: December 1, 2015
The Hawks went 2-0-1 on the week, defeating the Sharks in regulation, then the Ducks in overtime, then lost to the Kings in overtime. These were the final three games of the Circus Trip.
Notes
Forwards: Patrick Kane now holds the record for longest point streak by an American with 19. Turbo was fine when he made it back on the ice. Shaw –Toews – Garbutt has turned out to be a pretty good combination.
Defensemen: Trevor Daley has been pretty good offensively and solid defensively. I’d still explore a trade though, because he still doesn’t seem to be an ideal fit defensively and TvR has played well enough to merit a top 4 spot.
Goalies: Crawford turned in two solid outings against San Jose and Anaheim. Darling got the Hawks a point in L.A. and would have gotten them two if the rest of the team didn’t let the Kings control the game.
Blackhawks 3 stars of the week:
★★★ Duncan Keith, D (2 G, 3 A)
★★ Brent Seabrook, D (1 G, 3 A)
★ Patrick Kane, RW (1 G, 4 A)
